Where can I find the Google Analytics tracking ID?

This is a very common question we get asked. It’s important at this stage to highlight the fact that there are two main versions of Google Analytics; Google Universal Analytics which most people still refer to as Analytics and Google Analytics 4 which tends to be referred to as GA4.

The Instructions for Universal Analytics to get the tracking ID are as below:

1) Sign in to your Analytics account.

2) Click Admin from the bottom left corner, sometimes this just shows as a cog/gear symbol

3) Select an account from the menu in the Account column.

4) Select a property from the menu in the Property column.

5) Under Property, click Tracking Info > Tracking Code.

Your Tracking ID is displayed at the top of the page.

This ID can then be pasted into the Google Universal Analytics section of our app in the Tracking ID box
